The 24-hour front desk made our stay at Maracuja Hostel hassle-free. We didn't have to worry about check-in or check-out times. Our double room had a private entrance, which gave us a sense of privacy and independence during our stay. The air conditioning in our room was a game-changer, especially during hot summer days in Paraty. It kept the room cool and comfortable. We loved the option of using the shared kitchen. It allowed us to cook our own meals and save money on dining out. The daily housekeeping service ensured that our room was always clean and tidy, making our stay more comfortable.

Personally, we found the shared bathrooms to be a minor inconvenience. However, we understand that some guests may not mind sharing facilities.

maracuja hostel in paraty was even better than my last stay! the staff was super friendly and let me use the room after checkout. loved the delicious breakfast and the option to rent a kayak. the location next to the river was perfect for relaxing. exceeded expectations!

I had a great stay at a charming hostel by the canal. The couple who manage the place were friendly and welcoming. My room had lots of character and the bed was comfortable. The communal area was cozy and a good spot to meet other travelers. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the town center. I enjoyed my time exploring Paraty and would recommend this hostel.

The staff at this hostel were really friendly and helpful. They always made sure we had everything we needed and were happy to answer any questions we had. The breakfast spread was one of the best we've had during our South American trip. They had a good variety of options and even baked fresh cake for us every evening. The location was great, as it was situated between the old town and the beach, making it easy to explore both areas. The communal area was also really nice, with a big TV and comfortable seating.

That there were only two bathrooms, so sometimes there was a bit of a wait in the morning. Another issue was that the beds were quite small for taller people.
